Its lantern festival today.
:)

was pretty gloomy lately. as there isint much to anticipate.
but i realise im too greedy. :P

yest. on my way hm, i was waiting @ the bus stop.
i saw this really 'pretty' lil story 'told' in front of me.

Mummy in her early 30s. Daddy in his late 30s.
lil gurl, arnd 2yrs.
Daddy standing, kid infront o him, mummy sitting.
lil gurl holding a loaf of bread n wearing those squeeky shoes.
spinning alil in that lil space they gave her.
daddy said: 'becareful , dont fall.."
she fell!
mummy n daddy hurriedly got her up n used their hands to clean away the dirt on her lil hands n pinky pants.
lil gurl didn cry :)
then she stood up,stretched her arms to daddy.." bao bao".
Daddy took the bread frm her n put it into the plastic bag of ntuc grocery he was holding...
mummy called out : " mummy carry ok?"
lil gurl shake her lil head...
mummy stretched to daddy's hands n took the bags.
Daddy carried lil gurl..
then he comfortably pressed her head dwn to his shoulders..
lil gurl yawned.
lil gurl turn to mummy n stretch out her lil hand..
mummy open her 'lil mummy bag' n took out a pacifier.
lil gurl took it n put it into her mouth... her hand stretched out again to mummy.. mummy took out another pacifier!
( 1 pacifier to 'suck' another to 'smell') ahhhahaha

the bus came.
i followed near them.

( mummy - fair looking, tall and alil meaty. looking really gd though... Daddy is the older looking 1 with a Uncle-manly look, dark)

baby n daddy was seperated with mummy as it was really crowded.
i was right behind mummy.
n when i saw baby a distant in front.
i saw mummy stretching her neck to look for baby.. n the sweetest thing... baby was doing the same thing!

mummy found them n stood in front of baby n daddy's seat..
baby started to get upset as she was so sleppy n wanted mummy to carry...
but mummy said no..
then mummy started to sing 'humpty dumpty.."
then baby stood on daddy's laps... n mummy said." baby look" ( refering to the reflection on the window)
baby lean back n her lil head fell on daddy's head.. the reflection reflected the 'prettiest' picture.
mummy smiled.
i smiled.

( apologies for my 'ugly' storytelling :P )
my motherly instincts was making me smile...

i was happy.

happy mooncake-lantern festive ppl.
i miss those tyms in Neo Pee Teck Lane when us-kid would bring all out candles n paper lanterns out.. gathering by the 'lane'..

tonight i'll be visiting an orphanage. i hope my day would be as special.
